1st Grade Homeroom Teacher

Immaculata Classical Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and joyful 1st grade homeroom teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. The 1st grade homeroom teacher is responsible for all subjects except for music and must be trained (or willing to be trained) in Catechesis of the Good Shepherd.
 
The ideal candidate is a joyful, faithful Catholic who is passionate about educating children in the Catholic liberal arts tradition and committed to academic excellence. A collegial and collaborative attitude and the ability to teach and manage a class that may include children with special needs is a must. An undergraduate degree is required and teaching experience is preferred, but recent graduates are welcome to apply.
 
Founded in 2010, Immaculata Classical Academy is an independent Catholic school providing a rigorous liberal arts education to approximately 230 children in the Louisville area from pre-school through high school.
